At TrueBowGear, we take pride in delivering traditional archery equipment with the precision of a master bowyer. However, we understand that sometimes an arrow may not fly true. If you need to return or exchange an item, we’ll handle it with the same care we apply to tillering our flatbows.

Our Return Quiver Policy

You may return most items within 15 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Items must be:

  • In original, unused condition
  • In their original packaging (with fletching intact for arrows)
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Items That Cannot Be Returned

Like arrows once loosed, these items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-made products (including cresting/painted arrows and custom bowstrings)
  • Glues & Adhesives (for safety reasons)
  • Opened containers of fletching glue or cresting paint pens
  • Personalized items (engraved equipment or monogrammed quivers)

The Return Process

Follow these steps as carefully as nocking an arrow:

1. Prepare Your Return

Pack the item securely in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation. For arrow-related items, please use adequate protection to prevent damage during transit.

2. Contact Our Bowyer’s Team

Send us your return request by email to [email protected] using the following template:

Subject: Return Request – Order #[Your Order Number] Dear TrueBowGear Bowyer’s Team, I would like to request a return/exchange for the following item(s): Order Number: Item Name: Reason for Return: Please advise on the return process. Yours in archery, [Your Full Name] [Your Contact Information]

3. Receive Return Instructions

We’ll respond within 2 business days with return authorization and shipping instructions. For exchanges, please specify your preferred replacement item.

4. Ship Your Return

We recommend using a tracked shipping service. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Processing Time: 3-5 business days after receipt
  • Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Timeline: Allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account

For exchanges, we’ll ship your new item once the return is processed, using your preferred shipping method.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrived damaged or incorrect, contact us immediately at [email protected]. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and cover return shipping costs.

International Returns

For archers outside the UK:

  • Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs charges
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Refunds will be processed in GBP and may vary slightly due to exchange rates
